So you are searching for 40th birthday gift ideas for men and you're not satisfied with the list of luxury items or the endless choice of electronic devices. If buying him another gadget feels risky to you, consider getting a unique and nourishing experience for him.
What kind of experience does a busy 40-year-old man want?
It is simpler than you think. With all the daily responsibilities, he will appreciate an experience where he can break away from the tasks that support his career and family. Perhaps somewhere in nature to unwind his body and mind. Ideally, the experience is relaxing with interesting activities that nourish his soul.
The challenge is that he needs to enjoy this experience without adding more stress to his already packed schedule. In other words, he needs an effective and efficient way to recharge his mind and body.
Here is a unique experience that I have created just for that:
It is a Mini-Vacation, right here in Vancouver, Canada.
Save the hassle of booking hotels, plane tickets, and time off work! You only need to book your Couples Massage session and your babysitter!
What is this experience?
It is a unique private setting for couples to learn about giving and receiving bodywork. It takes place in a warm pool maintained at a magical temperature (i.e. your body temperature). This allows you to stay there for hours without working out to keep warm. What will you do then?
You will learn what each other likes/dislikes when being held, moved, stretched, massaged, and touched. You will learn the following by doing guided fun exercises and playing!
the joy of listening to each other's body language
the art of slowing down
the deepest presence with each other by learning how to hold, and move each other
to loved and to feel loved.
It is a mini-vacation in Vancouver, where you enjoy your spa day with the joy of learning the art of touch together. By observing my demonstration, and practice through giving and receiving, you will touch each other not only with your body but also with your soul.
The whole session is light-hearted, and heart-warming. You and your husband will explore each other's touch preferences (one of the key love languages). I have created a simple 2- question feedback framework for you to learn what each other likes, so you can practice saying what you want and what you don't want without hurting each other's feelings. This framework can easily applied when you go home.
