STANDARDS OF HEALTH

The safest experience for everyone is when we are doing this together.

Mandatory health screening & etiquette
Health screening for all clients is required. COVID questionnaire is sent together with appointment confirmation and intake form. Please fill out this questionnaire no more than 24 hours prior to your session. If you did not fill out this questionnaire prior to your session, you will be asked to answer COVID screening questions verbally before start of their session.

If you show any signs of illness during your visit (for example, coughing), we will re-schedule your session together.

OUTDOOR ENTRANCE, TOILET AND CHANGE ROOM OPTION"
You will be offered the option of using the side (outdoor) entrance directly into the Swim Spa area (outdoor) with outdoor toilet and change room (in tent outdoor). That way the whole experience will be outdoor only. You will be ask to let me know which entrance option you prefer in the appointment confirmation email.
Indoor entrance option:
At the main indoor entrance. There is hand-sanitizer and masks right beside the entrance.

DURING YOUR WATSU SESSION - MASK, EYE GOGGLES AND EAR PLUGS OPTIONS:
You will be asked to choose if you want me to wear mask during reception and/or your Watsu session.

You will also have a choice to wear a mask and/or eye goggles while receiving Watsu. If you do, your Watsu Session will be above water only. To ensure comfort and good fit, it is best for you to bring your own mask with a silicon bracket, so that your mask will not collapse and stick onto your face if it accidentally gets wet. You can also make your own bracket at home. This is called the beak invented by Toru Ogasawara at Okinawa Watsu Center. Here is the instruction link: https://youtu.be/ZE3qHhqL94A
If you forget your mask and bracket. It is available for Cdn$5

Similarly, I ask you to bring your own eye goggles for best health practice and best fit. If you forget to bring your eye goggles, brand new goggles are available for Cdn$20 a pair.

WATSHROOMS:
Washrooms/Changing rooms are cleaned regularly and thoroughly. You are asked to take shower before and after your session at home. Please feel free to use the toilet/changing room either indoor or outdoor.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:
Meet Health Screening Standards: Please use the Self Assessment before you come to your session.
No Walk-ins; Advanced Booking Only: You must pre-register for your sessions. This allows sufficient cleaning time between clients.
Cancellation Policy: As I am offering limited spots for booking, I require you to cancel reservations you cannot attend more than 48 hours before the start of session.
By choosing to receive Watsu which has no social distancing, even with the above mentioned safety measures, you acknowledge and accept the additional risks associated with the global health pandemic COVID-19.

Please feel free to contact me at (604) 790-8833 if you need to discuss any safety protocol. I believe that feelling safe and supported is a pre-requisite of having a good Watsu session.
I look forward to sharing Watsu experience with you!
